PRODUCT CENTER
High Borosilicate Monolithic Refractory Glass
product description
High borosilicate refractory glass is a kind of tempered single-piece refractory glass produced by a special original borosilicate glass (non-ordinary silicate glass) through a unique tempering process, which belongs to non-insulating refractory glass. This product has passed a number of authoritative tests, and the superior fire resistance of high borosilicate products of different thickness can reach the fire resistance limit of 3 hours.
Fire protection principle
The superior refractory performance of high borosilicate monolithic refractory glass stems from its very low coefficient of thermal expansion-only 4×10﹣6 (20-300 ℃), which is 2 to 2 lower than ordinary glass (silicate glass) 3 times.
In addition, the high borosilicate monolithic refractory glass also has excellent characteristics such as high softening point, excellent thermal shock resistance and viscosity. Therefore, when a fire occurs, the high borosilicate monolithic refractory glass is not easy to expand and break, thus achieving super strength Fire time limit.
Performance characteristics
Excellent float optical quality, providing distortion-free visual effects.
The extremely high light transmittance and low iron formula production ensure the true reproduction of colors.
Good corrosion resistance, stable UV resistance, excellent weather resistance.
Fully tempered single piece of refractory glass meets double safety requirements.
No NiS crystallization, no self-explosive single piece of refractory glass.
Outstanding fire integrity, over 3 hours fire resistance.
The standard thickness is 6mm, and different thicknesses such as 8, 10mm and 12mm are also available.
The self-weight is lighter than ordinary silicate glass, and the low specific gravity is 2.35g/cm³ (25℃).
Can be processed into curved arc refractory glass.
Can be framelessly connected to provide maximum viewing space.
Storage, transportation and installation
During storage and handling, pay attention to avoid any knocking on the edges and corners of the glass, as well as abrasions on the glass surface.
The glass should be placed upright with a slight tilt on a shelf made of non-abrasive material.
The glass should be stored in a dry environment.
During transportation, large-size glass needs to be placed parallel to the direction of movement to avoid damage due to inertial impact during glass transportation.
Appropriate installation status: vertical installation, inclined installation, horizontal installation.
When installing, the fastening method of four or more sides of the bar should be adopted. If it is a drilling hole clamping method, clamping and hanging fixing method, it is necessary to drill holes in advance before forming.
Suitable support frame: steel frame, stainless steel frame. The single piece of refractory glass will soften and sag under high temperature. The depth of the notch during installation should not be less than 25mm. When installing the bead, high-strength and non-deformable materials should be used.
